Instagram tests new collaboration feature.

With the Instagram platform growing, more people are sharing content with the world.

A new feature Instagram is working on is allowing a new way to collaborate with different users. When you post photos and videos, you can tag other users and it will show on the main feed with both usernames.

The photos above display the new test. The posts show either on the feed or in the reels view and the two profiles show they have partnered on the content. The new options to collaborate with other users will allow more exposure to each others followers which leads to increasing their growth.

Instagram explains:

“Collaborating is a huge part of how people connect on Instagram. To make that easier, we’re testing a new way for people to co-author Feed Posts and Reels, called Collab. From the tagging screen, you can now invite another account to be a collaborator on the post or reel. If they accept, both accounts will appear in the post or reel header, and it will be shared to both sets of followers.”

Who will you be collaborating with if this feature goes live? Let us know in the comments below.
